This is often times hard to determine simply because companies use all kinds of different material for their packing peanuts but the most common kind are loose fill packing peanuts which cost around $25 for 5 cubic feet. This is not a lot of packing peanuts so if you have a lot of breakable items that you need to move you should consider getting a bunch of news paper and combining that with the packing peanuts and cushioned boxes. The fact of the matter is that you can never be too safe when it comes to your breakable items. Just remember that even though some moving supplies cost more than you want to pay they will still help you protect your belongings and get them to where they need to be.
